PROCLAMATION - The responsibility of Christians is to proclaim Christ. To teach that Jesus had a threefold ministry sustained through a balance of character and power. Telling how the Lord knew the workers in the plentiful spiritual harvest would be few, and He discipled with this truth ever before Him. Leading by example He came "...teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness..." (Matthew 9:35-38)

Inside each of us, God placed an eternal link to Him. We are eternal beings because our spirits are eternal. The Lord Jesus Christ is the living Word, and the Bible, the written Word of God.
Touch Eternity Teach was chosen because believers who teach have a far-reaching effect on the lives of other Christians and the unchurched. The Bible places a higher level of accountability on those teachers. (James 3:1)
With a call to teaching in the Body of Christ, Bonnie J. Smith covers a variety of topics and themes in the Bible. Ministry has unfolded in numerous ways for her, from pastoral, to teaching, to writing, and to directing drama. Besides ministry degrees, she has had an extended unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) in a teaching hospital.
Bonnie has experienced three Divine Healings in her lifetime. The first, as a young child she was healed of rheumatic fever and a heart murmur; second, as a young adult healed of colitis; and third, a miraculous healing of a cerebral aneurysm without surgery. Many spiritual insights were gleaned from these three experiences.

Being an avid reader, from time to time Bonnie recommends a book. Through her suggestions, she does not necessarily have to agree with everything in the material. Each reader must exercise judgment and take responsibility to critically evaluate what an author expresses in content and language.

Bonnie affirms those serving the Lord and His Church should hold to Biblical principles. Also, she believes the sovereign ways of the Lord are best. Christians (and the unchurched) do not always comprehend the how's and why's of His purpose. As disiples, called to serve, their focused responsibility centers on seeking Him, trusting Him, affirming His teachings, all while leading and discipling others on the path of righteousness.
